IDEAL Compactors & Balers

Off Wix, onto a site the company owns.

IDEAL makes and sells compactors and balers. Its site lived on Wix, which meant limits on everything and ownership of nothing. Lava rebuilt it.

The IDEAL Compactors & Balers home page Lava built: a red compactor behind the headline “Turnkey Compactor and Baler Solutions for Operations of Every Size,” with Get a Quote Today and Call Us Now buttons.

The problem

Fine to start on, hard to grow on.

A do-it-yourself builder is a fine place to start and a hard place to grow. IDEAL’s site couldn’t do what a manufacturer’s site needs to: present a product line with real specifications, be found for the right searches, and be owned and moved like any other business asset.

What we did

A manufacturer’s site in its own brand.

A manufacturer’s site rebuilt on WordPress with ten product spec sheets redone in the brand.

  1. 01A rebuild on WordPress with the company’s own brand, colors, and type.
  2. 02Ten product spec sheet templates redone to match, so every product is documented the same way.
  3. 03A structure built for the buyer comparing equipment, not for the builder’s template.
  4. 04Managed hosting, with the site fully owned by IDEAL.
The work

A product line, laid out to compare.

What Lava built, on desktop and phone.
The new IDEAL Compactors & Balers home page on desktop: the compactor hero, a strip of four points (operating since 1996, nationwide service, turnkey solutions, women-owned), then “Waste Management Equipment & Services.”
The new IDEAL Compactors & Balers home page on a phone: the compactor hero, its headline, and the Get a Quote Today and Call Us Now buttons.
What changed

Owned outright, and documented.

IDEAL owns its site, can move it anywhere, and has a product line documented in one consistent format.
