A marketing team, always waiting.
Ward’s marketing team was spending too much of its time waiting. Updating a photo gallery or posting to the blog meant calling a developer. There was no good way to capture inquiries from prospective homeowners, and no way at all to sell the caulking, stain, and treatment kits that log home owners need every few years.
Underneath that, they needed a platform that would carry them for years: easy to update, good for search, and built to grow.
Tools for the team that runs it.
Galleries, floor plans, lead forms, and a store for maintenance products, all managed in-house.
- 01A WordPress site with admin tools built for the way Ward’s team works: galleries and blog posts they add themselves.
- 02A portfolio system for Ward’s floor plans and past projects, image-rich and easy to browse.
- 03Custom forms that capture qualified leads from people planning a home.
- 04A secure store for maintenance products, so existing owners can buy direct.
- 05A foundation for search visibility and future content, so the site keeps working as the marketing does.
Same homes. A clearer way in.

Run in-house, 21 years on.
Ward’s marketing team has run the site themselves for years. Leads come in through the forms, maintenance products sell online, and the relationship is now 21 years old.
A deep portfolio, easy to browse.
Ward’s portfolio is deep. Presenting hundreds of floor plans and homes in a way that’s beautiful to browse and structured enough to find took careful UX work, and every image had to earn its place without slowing the site down.
We’ve worked with Lava for over 20 years. They’re responsive, easy to work with, and always deliver thoughtful solutions. We couldn’t be happier.”
