Most of our WordPress website packages can be completed in 4 to 6 weeks—depending on the size of the site and how quickly we receive your content and feedback. We’ll work with you to set realistic timelines and keep the process moving without unnecessary delays.
Do I own my website once it’s built?
Yes—you own your website design, content, and files 100%. Unlike Wix, Squarespace, or GoDaddy site builders, your site is built on WordPress and belongs entirely to you. You can host it anywhere, update it anytime, and you’re never locked into a proprietary platform.

Can I add new pages myself once the site is launched?
Yes. You’ll be able to log in and add new pages using the WordPress dashboard — no coding required. We’ll show you how the system works so you can confidently grow your site over time.
Can I make simple changes to my site myself?
Yes. We build all of our sites using a user-friendly visual editor that makes it easy to update text, swap images, and tweak layouts. We’ll walk you through how to make changes during the training session.
Can I maintain SEO post-launch?
Yes. Every site comes with essential on-page SEO and the Yoast SEO plugin installed. We’ll show you how to update titles, descriptions, and keywords so you can keep your site optimized as your content evolves.
What’s included in my monthly support hours?
Your monthly support hours cover both technical support and minor content updates to your existing website—such as updating text, swapping images, or making small graphic changes. Support does not include creating brand new content, designing new pages, or developing new features. Larger updates or new content creation can be quoted separately if needed.
Do unused support hours roll over to the next month?
No—any included support hours are provided on a month-to-month basis and do not roll over or accumulate. This allows us to allocate time and resources fairly for all clients each month. If you need additional support beyond your included hours, we’re always happy to provide a custom quote.
Could my hosting costs change over time?
While we aim to keep your hosting rate consistent, costs may change occasionally if our third-party providers, such as hosting services or premium plugins, increase their prices. Any adjustments will be communicated clearly and in advance.
Am I locked into a long-term contract?
No—our WordPress website packages do not require any long-term commitment. You can cancel your services at any time with work paid-to-date. That said, many of our clients choose to stay with Lava for years because of the responsive service, reliability, and results we deliver.
